When checking in on February 21, 2015 you will be requried to fill out and sign a Performance Release form. This is mandatory before you will be allowed to audition. If under 18 years of age you will be required to have an adult/guardian who has proper authority to sign for you as well.




Access Sacramento is recruiting the area’s Best Singers for its 3rd Annual “Sacramento Has Talent” stage show.

OPEN AUDITION for singers has a first come-first served signup audition February 21, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. at the Coloma Community Center TV Studio, 4623 T. Street, Sacramento, CA. This is a one-time opportunity. Depending on the number of sign ups, some may not be able to participate. Singers will be asked to impress the judges in 60-90 seconds of a Capella (non accompanied/non karaoke) singing in front of our TV Studio cameras. Music to accompany a performance may be brought on a standard playable CD. Other formats may not be compliant so convert your music before you arrive. NO Studio Audience. Check in for auditions is at 8:30am on February 21st and is on a first come-first served.

Approximately 10 Semi-finalists will be announced at approximately noon, with the top singers performing their 60-90 second performance piece AGAIN during a  LIVE TELEVISED PERFORMANCE from 1pm to 2pm on Access Sacramento. The show will be seen in Sacramento County on Comcast/SureWest Cable channel 17, AT&T U-Verse Channel 14. Also, live on the internet from [Push Watch TV 17]. Participate in the live audition show on Facebook and Twitter by using the #Sactalent hashtag. At least one singer will be selected from the TELEVISED AUDITION as a finalist and be awarded an opportunity to perform in front of judges,

TV cameras and the live audience at The Crest Theatre for the taping of Access Sacramento’s 3rd Annual “Sacramento Has Talent” stage show April 2, 2015 at 7 p.m. Performers must live in the major Sacramento region from approximately Woodland/Yuba City in the north, to Lodi in the South, and from Dixon in the West to Auburn / Placerville in the East. This opportunity to appear on television is unpaid as part of a fundraising event for Access Sacramento with performers donating their time and talent. Performers who appear on cable television will receive a copy of their performance on DVD within 30 days of the broadcast. No additional compensation. Performance releases are required. Decisions of the judges are final.


Note: Additional “Sacramento Has Talent” performers will be selected by the selection committee. Performers in all talent fields are encouraged to send biographies, YouTube video links, and supporting materials to for consideration and possible invitation directly into the Sacramento Has Talent performance.
