Festival Sponsor Information
The Festival of Cinema is the primary fundraising event for Access Sacramento, a 501(c)(3) California non-profit corporation teaching all Sacramento County residents how to use television, radio, Internet and digital film technologies for the betterment of our community.
The Festival has expanded with the wonderful financial support of our 2003 Sponsors. We invite you to help with the financial needs of the Festival by contributing your Underwriting Support to grow the event. Your underwriting may be tax deductible and will help the Festival invite more special guests, provide more scholarships to worthy film students, and grow the Festival as an economic engine for our Downtown business community.

Here's what local leaders say about how our film festival helps to foster local prosperity.
"Getting Hollywood to Sacramento to shoot movies is huge boost to regional economic prosperity. A Single location shoot can make a significant financial impact to area businesses. The Sacramento Festival of Cinema has been the best friend to film producers in our area that we could possibly imagine. I applaud them for their vision and support of major film production in Northern California."
Kathleen Dodge - Film Commissioner, El Dorado County Co.
"The Sacramento Festival of Cinema encourages independent and Hollywood-based film production in Sacramento. Access Sacramento, the festival's organizer, is a strong partner in fostering local production and we encourage area businesses to support their efforts. Film production enhances Sacramento's image and contributes to the well-being of our economy."
Lucy Steffens - Sacramento Film Commissioner
"How do film festivals support local economy? Movie production brings international exposure, valuable new revenues and, most importantly, shared pride to a local community. What better way to attract this type of industry into the Sacramento region than a film festival that features our creative talent, our diverse geography and our boundless enthusiasm?"
Jill Kaiser - Executive Director, Arts & Business Council
