Constitution Day celebrates the 236th anniversary of the original Constitution’s signing in 1787 on September 17, a Sunday this year. Retired Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, namesake of The Justice Anthony M. Kennedy Library and Learning Center located in the Robert T. Matsui U.S. Courthouse, recommends everyone read the entire Constitution at least once a year as it takes little more than an hour to do so.
